Guidelines for pateints known to the practice:

1. For urgent matters patients shall be prioritised as much as possible for an appointment and will be advised to see their GP for assistance until then.

2. for emergencies: to attend to your nearsst emergency room. the ER doctors will do an assesment and if admission is needd will contact me to find a psychiatric inpatient bed. It is recommended to attended Medicilinc Constantiberg Dmergnecy Room.

3. while all efforts will be made toliase with your meedial aid for payment, this rerepsonibiltiy is ultiamtely with the apteitn asnd pateitns will be held liable if their medical aid does not reimburse the practice.

4. if you cannot reach the receptionist on 021 7611188 then please contact ER medical paging serives on 021888 to leave a message whihc they will pass onto Recpetion during working hours. 

​

5. Psychiatric emrgencies where the pateitn is high risk to himnself or others or he/she is unwilling to be treated or admitted, then admission too a private psychiatric unit is not possible and will reuire inlovutnaryassessment at their local distric hispotail. see downloads for the MHCA form 4.
